We are located in Des Plaines Illinois. When you come to House of Blonde, you can expect nothing but the best in service and product offerings, skilled professionals and a personalized salon experience. From cut and color to style and hair extensions, Sharon Bondar will use her 16 years of experience to ensure everything such as type of hair and skin tone features and your personality are taken into consideration at each consultation-ultimately giving you a style that truly defines you.

Sharon began her career as a color assistant on Oak street in Chicago. As time went on she obtained the techniques and knowledge needed to succeed. Her experience in managing salons in the Chicago area along with keeping up with her cliental has given Sharon the advantage of the whole salon business.

Sharon is dedicated to always being ahead of the curve by continuing her education and keeping abreast of new trends and techniques. For instance, Sharon is an American Board Certified Colorist and has two certifications in hair extensions (SO-CAP USA) and (EURO-SOCAP). Also, trained with Vidal Sassoon she is well rounded in all areas of hair. This training allows her to offer her customers an unsurpassed knowledge in color correction and hair extensions.

In 2006, Sharon Bondar took a leap of faith and founded House of Blonde in the basement of her home. The rest is history. She has since expanded the business into a thriving family-owned salon. House of Blonde is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience to each and every client. Sharon takes her years of expertise and applies it to tailor each style to enhance a client's features. Sharon: (Left)

Founder of the House of Blonde, hair salon.(her bio above) Sharon and Karen (sisters) work together well. They each have their strengths in what they achieve to make the House of Blonde the great place it is.

Karen: (Right)

Manager of the House of Blonde and co-founder, grew up in a family retail business. Management for Karen comes naturally. While Sharon takes care of all technical aspects of color, extensions and cutting hair, Karen is the mastermind behind the scenes.
